Level of enjoyment: B-
Comments: I love the feeling of the clay in my hands. Unfortunately my vases and pots always come out looking like cakes that had water poured on them
Hobbby: Read
Level of enjoyment: A+
Comments: I’m in the middle of several books: Hollow Bones by Jodi Picoult (I waited on the list for a long time for that one), Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari, Interior States by O’Gieblyn, One Golden Summer by Carley Fortune, Anne Boleyn: The King’s Obsession by Alison Weir and Becoming Duchess Goldblatt by by Duchess Goldblatt. My library card is always maxed out and I always have things overdue.
Hobby: Playing an instrument
Level of enjoyment: A-
Comments: I have been playing piano my whole life. I believe my dad started teaching me when I was four. Throughout my life I was supposed to do piano thirty minutes a day, 45 on weekends. Usually I was supposed to practice on my own with lessons once or twice a week. I was taught classical until I was fourteen and then I began to teach myself musicals and pop/ rock.. I read from “fake books”and if I was familiar with a song I’d usually be able to read it just using the chords. Now my dad does not enforce piano practices but I usually enjoy it and do it anyway. I have a Disney fake book, a Beatles fake book, several Taylor Swift books, and even a Chappell Roan songbook (but I usually whisper the lyrics when my parents go by)
Hobby: Doing Diamond Art
Level of Enjoyment: B+
Comments: The level of enjoyment I get out of doing diamond art is definitely linked to what I am creating. I don’t like doing the giant posters but I love doing bookmarks and coasters I can give as gifts. A few months ago I did a series of coasters for different sea creatures. Now my best friend has a sea turtle on his coffee table.
Hobby: Scrapbooking/ Junk Journaling
Level of enjoyment: A+
Comments: I love collecting mementos and photos and organizing them according to months and themes. I have a special journal my aunt got me for Christmas. Every month I glue my resolutions in along with photos, tickets, quotes and even fortune cookies (hey I’ve gotten some good ones).
Hobby: Creative Writing
Level of enjoyment: A+
Comments: I started my writing career when I was four. I wrote such short stories as “The Gluestick that Grew Too Tall”, “The Priest That Skipped Mass” and “The Magic Magic Snowflake” As of today I have published six books and and created worlds with witches, spies and vampires. Primarily though I focus on troubled teens in a realistic world (I was THAT girl).
Hobby: Journaling
Level of Enjoyment: A+
Comments: I started my first journal when i was eight years old in a composition notebook. I was amazed that I got endless space to hold all my thoughts. And it felt like I had alot of thoughts. I hated my gym teacher because I thought he was in love with me (this actually really bothered me). I had a difficult relationship with my little brother. And I was boy crazy beyond belief. Sometimes I’d find interesting things in my local newspaper and paste it into my journal. Usually it was about a speeding ticket.
Hobby: physical activity (a workout at the gym, cardio- treadmill, bicycle, a run around a track-, sports)
Level of Enjoyment: Ranges from C- to A+Comments: I hate cardio. It’s not so bad once I actually force myself on the treadmill but even then I don’t actually run I just walk. I love sports. Growing up I played soccer and basketball. When I got to college I was able to do intramural sports. In my first semester I played volleyball, basketball, kickball and ultimate frisbee. Each sport had a game once a week. It was one of my favorite things about college.
Hobby; Photography
Level of Enjoyment: A-
Comments: I like posing for the camera but I also like finding shots in unexpected places. I remember I collected some of my photographs and sent them to my best friend who is a master photogra[ph and works in a photography shop. He was actually impressed with some of my pictures. I need to continue to look for unique opportunities to catalogue my life through film.
Hobby: Knitting
Level of Enjoyment: A-
Comments: When I’m in the flow, I love knitting. Seeing my rows of stitches or even better wearing my creations (a cowell, a hat, a scarf), is so rewarding. I’m embarking on a new quest with my off the shoulder blouse. It definitely does require patience otherwise I might stick my knitting needles through my head.
Hobby: Blogging
Level of Enjoyment: A+
Comments: I blog five days a week. Sometimes I struggle knowing what to say, wondering if anyone is reading it anyway (and there are people who do. Giving you a shout out Matt). But hitting publish is such a rush. And the click of my keyboard is like home for me. It’s straight A+s all along.
