                                                                   Desire

What are your desires at the moment? 

  • I want to stop being so irritable. I don’t even know why I’m irritable when there is so much good stuff going on.

  • I want to get off this elimination diet and eat normal food again

  • I want to not let myself lose control

  • I never ever want to be in the hospital again

  • I want my parents to love me even when I don’t deserve it

What is the “carrot” that strengthens your determination? The way I am more resilient than me and sometimes those around me see myself. But at the same time another carrot is the way the people who are close to me believe in me, even when I don’t believe in myself. So basically self-confidence and the confidence of others.

I want my books to have some validation and acknowledgement. Whether that’s being featured on Oprah’s book club or having one of them turned into a movie or even if (and this is the most important one) making a difference in somebody’s life.
