  2. Self-harm (particularly on my legs with a razor)

  4. Dating —------- —--------, another abusive drug dealer

  5. Getting stoned off dabs


  1. Thanksgiving sophomore year of college

  2. Suicidal urges

  3. Depression (trouble getting out of bed to eat or shower)

  4. First time inpatient in a mental hospital

  2. First psychotic break (hearing voices, paranoia)

  3. Big fight with my best friend

  4. Rejected by the guy I really liked

  5. Betrayed by my roommate

  6. Hospitalized again

  2. Manic episode (later diagnosed as bipolar)

  4. Hospitalized at a terrible facility where I wasn’t even given access to a doctor

  3. Made new friends (Halloween sleepover)

  4. Straight As


  1. My senior year at high school

  2. Lead in both musical and school play

  3. Took interesting classes (sociology, psychology and humanities)

  4. Had fun with my boyfriend and his friends

  5. Captain of the debate team

  6. Popular writer for the school newspaper


  1. My freshmen year of college

  2. Dean’s List

  3. Many new, true friends

  4. Fun activities to get involved in

  5. Party  lifestyle while still getting good grades

  6. Independence
