I know we live in an age of equality. But it is hard to have a level playing field when men and women face such different challenges. I'm not saying one sex has it harder. I just think we should appreciate each genders obstacles, particularly if we are in a heterosexual couple. It'll help us understand each other. Here are a few I brainstormed:

Women’s Challenges:

  • Everyone can see how big or small their boobs/ ass are and objectify them for that

  • Unwanted pregnancies

  • Sexual assault or outright rape (I am aware that men can be sexually abused and raped too but it is more common with women)

  • Painful periods

  • When your pad leaks and it looks like you murdered someone in your bed

  • Women are more catty and like to gossip

  • Miscarriages

  • Childbirth

Men’s Challenges:

  • Women usually get more custody of the kids in divorce battles regardless of the situation

  • They can be falsely accused of rape

  • Not as many people understand men can be victims of rape and domestic violence

  • Sometimes they don’t know if a kid is theirs

  • They are more pressured to hide their feelings and “man up”

  • Women expect they will always be in the mood for sex

  • Drafted to military more often than women
