Describe the pleasure of eating something delicious today:Today I had delicious hot chocolate with whipped cream and a BLT sandwich with juicy tomatoes and crispy bacon (oh yeah and lettuce too).

Fun I had at work today:
Today I created a quiz for my blog about “what life dimension takes up the most attention” It was very fun to create and I think it’ll be fun to take.

Work I accomplished today:
I’m transitioning all my journal entries not in the fire proof boxes to my computer so I can have them backed up in case of fire.

What will make me happy now:
I am happy but I could be happier if my anxiety wasn’t so bad. If I could just learn to relax and focus on more positive things than maybe I’d feel happier. Right now I’m just a mess of worry. I will also be happy if the Meetup goes well tonight.

How someone made me feel happy?
Yesterday at work Kristina asked me if I would help her in the ribbon aisle while the managers put the money away. We talked for 45 minutes and at the end of the night exchanged numbers. Yay, new friends.

A sweet simple thing that made me happy today:
reading my journals to Mom and showing her my old poetry books. I also wrote two poems today so I was extra productive.

Today’s gains:
I went to the library and got a bunch of books including one I can read to Mom. Then I had the River River Writer’s Group where I made a new friend. The poem I wrote wasn’t that great but at least I managed to write one. Now I get to fill out my journals.

Today’s euphoria:
Tonight I have a concert with Dad to see Three Days Grace and Shinedown, two of my favorite bands. Plus sushi for dinner. Plus I’m taking it easy. It’s a good day.

An achievement that gave me joy today:
Last night I won my first poetry slam, a dream of mine. I’ve been steadily working towards it but at times felt like I couldn’t achieve. I am so proud of myself (and my partner Vee). It gives me incredible joy. That my poems are worthy of winning. Wow my hard work paid off.

A creative effort that thrilled me today:
Well, every day is creative effort with me because I always work on my book. Today I also went to the River River Writer’s group and I wrote a short story based on two paintings. I banged the whole thing out in less than 45 minutes. Tomorrow I’ll work on publication.
4/28/2026:
A partner with whom I shared my joys:
My boyfriend, Justin. Any news I get (about my recent job, a success at Rockland Poets, news about Cape Cod) is passed along to him for us to smile about

What I liked doing today:Today Mom, Dad, Michael and I decorated the Christmas tree. As always I took delight in putting up my ornaments especially the numerous Winnie the Pooh ones.

What I was enthusiastic about today
I got alot of new stickers at Michael’s today. I put them all over my journal and then in my planner. I love stickers and I love using them to enhance my book.

Some things I want that I’m without:My freedom! Okay maybe that’s a little dramatic but I am without my crafting supplies, my cell phone, and most of my belongings like my laptop. Merry Christmas.

My spring party:
This actually gave me an idea. When the Corona virus is finally good and over (even if it is not spring) maybe Mom and Dad will let me have a party.

My summer afternoon:
Today I had a Catherine night. I made my own journal by gluing snips into a composition book and ate meatloaf.
