  • I listen to loud, angry rap and metal music when I feel frustrated and helpless about my past traumas

  • I’m good at sports

  • I don’t sing as much anymore because I hate the way my medication makes my voice tremble

  • I shake not because I am nervous but because I am on strong medication (although lately the tremors have been manageable)

  • I designed my first illustrated poem book after I was inspired by a school project

  • I wrote my first anthology of short stories when I was four. They include “The Gluestick that Grew Too High” and “The Priest that Skipped Mass”
