I accomplished some things in February. Others I was not so lucky with. But I’m proud of myself for trying and excited for the upcoming month of March which will come with it’s own set of resolutions. Here are the February resolutions I accomplished.
Try wagyu beef on a romantic Valentine’s day dinner. Justin and I went to a Korean BBQ place where you can cook your own meat. We wandered through the mall amazed at how long the lines were for the poor suckers who hadn’t made reservations. I did enjoy the wagyu, which cut like butter and melted in your mouth like it too. Justin stuck to eating mostly steak but I had a smattering of sushi, noodles and ice cream. Honestly there was no rhyme or reason to my banquet.
I didn’t finish the book for —-----’s book club. It was a book called I, Who Have Never Known Men. I will try to finish it but I’m facing a backlog of books. However, I did finish the book for my book club The Housemaid.. Quick read.
I did delete the apps from my phone. So many games and apps had just appeared. I don’t recall downloading any of them. And I don’t play games even Candy Crush.
I was accompanied by guitar when I performed “That’s What You Get” Not the guitar player I had in mind but a a guitar player is a guitar player and they were both talented
I love these bath bombs my cousin Mary-Kate got me. They make every bath a pleasure. I love seeing the tub turn different colors
I went to two meetings at the assisted living facility. Yet we still haven’t chosen a book to read. I’m waiting to hear from the activities director.
Check in with —----- three times. One of my really good friends is in military school for a few months. I’ve been checking in on her. She’s been enjoying her time studying and riding (she’s an accomplished horseback rider).
I did compete in the team slam. I didn’t make it (one person. I was one person off) but it was a tough but fun competition.
I saw the Superbowl along with half of America and probably most of Puerto Rico.
Here are February resolutions I’m abandoning:
Finish the shadow journal. I’ll finish it eventually but I’m not going to put a timer on it
I was reading Normal Women by Phillippa Gregory to Mom but she didn’t like it so I’m just reading it on my own now
Resolutions I Will Pursue, Just Maybe in Different Ways:
I will ease myself into doing 40 minutes of cardio (currently I do thirty) and work up getting half off a training session who can help me with the machines
I’m almost done with my kerchief. I have one more blue row, then I can do the pink. I am going to rock this kerchief all the time. It is going to be my signature look.
Finally, arrange a date with Amanda to hang out
I am going to get those photos from Shutterfly and then make a scrapbook out of them.
If I don’t get sales at Larisa’s store, i might try selling them on Etsy
I have learned 1 of the three Bandito’s games I have tasked myself to know
I am currently in the process of figuring out my DND character. I want her to be an interesting conglomerate of the wives of Henry the VIII. Like the loyalty of Catherine of Aragon, the ambition of Anne Boleyn etc.
It’ll be simple to free up room on my email. I just got to delete 400 piano videos off my drive.
I am currently adjusting to my meds. My lithium was tipped a little too high and it was upsetting my stomach. It also made me nauseous and I kept feeling like I have morning sickness.
I haven’t saved up $1,000 quite yet (I’m somewhere in the 400s) but its a goal I take seriously. Who wants to waste all their money on crafts supplies? Not me.
