Feelings Journal: Sunny

11/22/2023: It’s almost Thanksgiving! We’re having bean salad and stuffing and mac and cheese and so many more good stuff.  Best of all I’m not working the day after (I did that one year #blackFriday). Most of the family is coming over and Justin is too (though I’m going to his house Friday. His parents are away). We recently got Hulu and its fun watching Law and Order SVU and House and a million more stuff. I’ve been faithfully going to the gym and today I walked thirty minutes nonstop. I’ve been working on my Christmas presents- altered cards, comic book, scrapbook, fill in journals.

12/24/2023: An hour until Aunt Dorothy comes. It smells very strongly of salad dressing in the kitchen and I was just watching House. Mom’s cooking. Dad’s in the shower and Michael is in his room. For dinner tonight we are having ham, salad,  mac and cheese and sweet potatoes (the savory kind). 

7/26/2024 (today): It’s amazing where roads lead you. My brother and his girlfriend are visiting and Justinn just left for his Boston trip. This summer has been amazing. This year has been amazing. Part of me is apprehensive (too good to be true?) but the rest just knows to enjoy it. And I’m certainly enjoying letting the sun back into my life.
