Happy Birthday Dad

Things I love and appreciate about my dad:
He always has a sense of humor. Although he would never make light of my pain he would joke with me in the hospital or when I was I was freaking out and I would always end up laughing
He is able to put things in perspective and understand some things are not the end of the world
He sticks to his values and principles
In my opinion, my dad is a hero. He was a police officer in a difficult climate. We owe our safety to police officers and society does not give them their respect
He makes me feel safe. I am his daughter and he would never let anything happen to me no matter what.
He is a very social and genuine person. I’m blessed to be his daughter.
And I would write more but I'm still sick with an ear infection. It's pretty bad. I can barely hear and it's throbbing with pain. Fingers crossed I can go to work tomorrow.
