Moments I Enjoyed This Weekend

Killing someone in a game of laser tag. I am by no means good at laser tag. But when I’m ducking behind barrels or the abandoned hot dog stand and I take aim at the enemy team, I feel like I’m in Black Ops and I’m the Top Gun. When the enemy team opens fire on one of my teammates, I will defend them until the red turns tail and runs away (I was Blue).
When I wasn’t feeling great after so much running and I was slumped on the floor in the Blue headquarters, my friend, who was hosting the party, helped me to my feet and made sure I got to the lobby safely to get water.
I got to see my cousin’s cousins which I don’t often see. I was honored when one of them chose to give me their mother’s prayer card (their mother passed away two months ago and it is a difficult time for their family. I will pray for their mother and their family)
Giving away one of my Winnie the Pooh stuffed animals (a large Tigger that doubles as a backpack) to my little cousin, Lucas. When they left, he was clutching Tigger in his fist. It was clearly his favorite and almost as big as him. Tigger is going to get alot of love.
Justin and I hung out in my room when we got too tired to party anymore. He is my best friend, my soul mate, my cheerleader. We could talk and kiss for hours. This coming weekend we are celebrating our anniversary (which is March 5).
Sunday we went to my friends house for a St. Patrick’s party/ going to the parade. I’m not going to reveal where I live but our town has a huge St. Patrick’s Day parade. It’s very big. And my friend lives very close so you are able to walk to the parade from there.
My friend said she identified most as Piglet and I asked her who she thought I was and said “You are Pooh. Because you bring everybody together” I was so touched by that.
I met some cool people at the party and two of them had met my brother and didn’t hate him!
I walked around so much that I burned off any calories I have accumulated within the past month. I wasn’t even too out of breath.
I ordered a (nonalcholic) drink at a bar in a local pub. I have an X on my hand from the bouncer. Is it just me or do you all love getting carded?
Three parties, what a weekend! Next weekend? 90’s con!
