  • I am going to be having a Story of Hope book launch at my friend’s cafe. My friend has a vegan cafe where she sells the beautiful things she made (fairy houses and jewlery) as well as things made by local artists (she also sells some of my old books and crafts).

  • I really want to do this. I love reading aloud, I love kids and I think it could be really fun to read to kids books like Winnie the Pooh, Mrs. Piggle Wiggle and even American Girl books. Growing up I loved American Girls.I have three dolls (they’re cozy up in the attic): Samantha from the Victorian period, Kit from the Great Depression and Molly from World War 2. I would like to dress up my doll and take her to the library when I read their stories. I think the kids would get a kick out of that.

  • I wanted my blog to be a mental health/ self-help blog and I still do. But I also want to dabble in journalism and current events. Again, I’m not talking politics. That’s not what this blog is for.

  • I am painting and inking  my comfort books as presents

  • Justin doesn’t like scary movies and I’m not going to strongarm him into seeing one. He did see Smile which was one of the most terrifying movies I’ve ever seen so I’ve already put him through a lot. But he did express interest in seeing Resident Evil especially after I saw Spiderman: Brand New Day with him. As a rule, superhero movies aren’t really my thing but I did like that movie anyway.

  • Our gym offers line dancing classes. Most of them are on Sundays when I am unavailable but I did snag one on a Wednesday. I plan on playing some line dances at my birthday party and I know a few friends who will join in.

  • Our gym gives free personal training sessions out for your birthday. I’ve had three personal training sessions so far and I’ve learned alot about floor exercises and machines and lifting weights. Enough to really put together a workout. My goal is to learn how to use all of the machines even if I don’t incorporate them daily.

  • I love discovering new Youtubers. If I subscribe to you it’s because I want to hear more from you not just because you posted an amusing video once. I expect to be entertained. In August I subscribed to Normal Gays, Brett Cooper and Kiki Chanel. I love whenever they have new content.

  • My mom would rather not me cut my hair and I have to admit it looks cute: curly and loose framing my face. So I’m keeping my hair the length it is, I just might dye it red again. I still don’t know what happened to my hair though. For most of my life it was straight. Several years ago it started getting wavy and now it’s a full on curl factory. Sometimes I wonder if it has anything to do with my medication.

  • I’ve already started receiving cards for my birthday (it’s the 17th of September).  I have a lot of family and they are always generous with cards and presents or even a warm Facebook comment. But I like to save all the cards and presents for the big day and open them all at once just like it’s Christmas morning.

I’m so pumped for September!
