Last day of September. My favorite month went by so fast. Yesterday I met with both my psychiatrist and my therapist (at different times) and they both agreed that I’m better off now that I quit  my job. I haven’t had a hint of dissociation or any panic attacks since. I do still feel a sense of failure and it weighs really heavy  but every day that goes by I feel it less. As I move into fall I can put it behind me and maybe focus on working with different people or a different population. But let’s take one final glance at September.

September Resolutions:

  • I definitely played more games like Dominion on vacation. I think MIchael won every game. I consider Dominion a more interesting, nuanced version of chess although other generations might cancel me for doing so.

  • I decide not to do the Winnie the Pooh project. I”m doing the green off the shoulder shirt instead. I have seven rows stitched so far. At this rate I won’t finish it until next Christmas.

  • I’m not going to schedule the book launch until I know when it will be published (October will be dedicated to editing). I believe it will be sometime mid-November.

  • I still want to do a story hour for children but our library is under construction so realistically I’ll have to wait until the new year.

  • I’m already covering current events. Just Sports, anyone?

  • Before I can do the comfort books, I was going to ink them. Now I plan on painting them instead. Lot less room for mess and it doesn’t stain as much.

  • Not only did I convince Justin to see Resident Evil he actually wanted to see it. Unfortunately I was feeling kind of sick and was just adjusting to a new Seroquel dose. I still want to see it.

  • My feet were really hurting me during the line dancing class. Maybe I need new shoes? It felt like bees were stinging my feet. I was unable to finish the lesson.

  • I had a really good personal training session. She showed me some machines, some weight exercises and some floor exercises. I still switch up my workout a little every day but its nice to have more stuff to add to it. I realized today while doing rear delts that the motion looked a little like what the girls do in Are You There, God? It’s Me, Margaret with the bust exercise. Not that I need it.

  • I’ve started subscribing to several more Youtubers. The one I”ve seen the most of lately is Caleb Hammer on Financial Audit and yeah he can he an asshole to people, especially those who are overweight but he knows his stuff (finance) and has a lot of  common sense. And I don’t think he’s a bad person. Just insensitive.

  • I haven’t done anything to my hair. I might get it styled because I decided I don't want it cut. Perhaps a bob? Or the Rachel? (I love anything Jennifer Anniston)

  • I did it. I waited until my birthday before opening my cards and presents. To anyone who thought of me on my birthday, thank you. Cards will be out very soon.
