1000 Little Things Happy Successful People Do Differently
Ten Habits to Quit
6) Stop criticizing others
Actually I don’t criticize many people unless they are prominent political figures but we won’t go into that here
7) Quit running from your problems and fears
Problems:
My OCD/ bipolar disorder makes things difficult
I eat too much
I weigh too much
I’m too dependent on caffeine
I have a checking problem (it is my chief OCD symptom)
I get jealous and insecure in relationships
Fears:
My past haunting me
Never making a difference
Dying all alone
Breast cancer
8) Quit living in another time
Past Times I Think About:
My time at Scranton
When I was sexually assaulted
The summer of 2016
Staying with Derrick’s family
Future Times I Think About
Publishing A Story of Hope
People’s reactions to A Story of Hope
If I will ever be a famous writer
Marriage/ my wedding
Aging gracefully
Still writing for the rest of my life
9) Quit Trying to Be Someone You Are Not
Who I Am: A short (5 ft 2) brunette with big breasts and short hair who loves to write and craft
Who I Am Not: Some blonde girl who knows how to accentuate her ass in leggings. She routinely checks her makeup and posts on Instagram. Sometimes she does tutorials on Youtube in low cut shirts. She has an abundance of subscribers.
Who I Am Not: A death metal chick (much as I once tried) who has sworn brownies to lose weight and is dangerously underweight. She gives blowjobs to most drummers and base players if they get scruffy enough. She buys her wardrobe from Spencers but only when male cashiers are working.
Who I am Not: Soccer captain who can beat anyone on the boy’s soccer team and rally her own teammates before any game.
I’m so happy with who I am
10) Quit being ungrateful
Here are some things I am grateful for:
Listening to 106.7
Waking up with Mary-Kate (my cousin)
Smoking hookah
The scent of fresh clothes from the dryer
Being okay with change
Making sacrifices to lose weight
Everything about Cape Cod
Holding a baby and watching them smile
Interviewing someone
Chest hair (on my boyfriend)
