  • the ultimate frisbee game in college where I blacked out and ended up in the hospital, best friend and loyal teammate Emily by my side

  • junior year of college- tried to do costumes for the school play but it was way too much on my plate. Hey, you can't do it all

  • being a religion teacher. Just letting you know there is no guide to being a religion teacher. They give you a bunch of kids, a textbook and it is up to you to plan lessons and encourage the kids to go to church (which they usually don't). There is no discipline system because there is no principals office or option of detention. This means a religion teacher has very little control over her class.

  • being Trix. Trix was a role I had in the senior musical. I was originally selected as an understudy and when the lead dropped out I was happy to fill the role. But then the cast was a nightmare, the director hated me and I was losing confidence in myself. I really wanted to drop out myself but I knew the cast was depending on me. I gave a masterful performance and though it was really hard, I'm glad I stuck with it.

  • geometry (in college)

  • the mile run in gym

  • Sunrise Day Camp (the camp for children with cancer that I worked at) required all energy on board.

  • Freshmen Halloween as Miss Mouse. Kind of like Minnnie but short skirts and fishnets. And heels the size of my forearm. Walking in them was certainly an adventure

  • to finish a shift at the library or AC Moore

  • to finish a basketball game

  • staying out late at college, drinking Monster

  • finishing my semester's lesson plan after I was hospitalized for a week
