You Too Can Play Journal Bingo

Allow me to reintroduce you to a game I invented (I think I invented it. I’m sure some other girl in Brazil or Romania did the same thing). I have been looking through online bingo games for ones that fit my personality whether that is “bipolar bingo” “ENFP bingo” (my Myers-Briggs Bingo) “self-help/ self-care bingo” “fitness bingo” and “writing bingo” I copy and paste the games into my journal and on the mornings which I actually have time I’ll go through the journals checking squares off if applicable. I even made up rules to this game and prizes should I “win”
Here are they are below:
Bingo Game Rules:
This applies to any current bingo game no matter what journal or section
You can only check off one square per bingo game per day
You cant check off the same square on two different games on the same day
You can use events from the past, tasks you are doing now or tasks you plan to do that day. You may not use future events
And here are my prizes (DO NOT JUDGE!) but obviously feel free to substitute your own:Five Spaces in a Row in Any Direction: 1 hour of journaling in any journal at any time
Ten Spaces in a Row in Any Direction: 1 hour of reading any book at any time
15 Spaces in a Row in Any Direction: Buy pens/ shower steamers
Twenty Spaces in a Row in Any Direction: Trip to Michael’s (budget is $25)
Complete an entire game: Buy a new outfit/ visit any library of choice
Complete that month’s goals: Try a new restaurant/ plan a road trip
Btw you may think my first two prizes are lame. I’m trying to a) afford spending money b) trying to make the most of my time.Sometimes I feel guilty when I take time for myself so I have to actually give myself an excuse to do so.
I never made a goals bingo for January (although I already have made a February bingo) but I did make a goals bingo for the whole year which I’ll review at the end of each month. So please find or create your own bingo cards for your own game. It is fun to do, not to mention it gives you something to journal about if you are searching for something to write or when you’re feeling stale.
